Education

Associate of Arts - Communications and Performing Arts from Chipola College, 2010 Bachelor of Arts - English (Creative Writing) with minor in Media Studies from Florida State University, 2012 Master of Arts - Executive Leadership in Human Services from Liberty University, 2014 I am a lifelong, self-proclaimed professional student, so I plan to continue my education in the future.

Experience

I love writing, editing, proofreading, you name it! I have previous tutoring experience and am always helping a friend (or friend of a friend) with their homework or papers. I have worked with students as young as preschool age (3+ years) to middle aged adults returning to school. I am constantly reading and working towards learning as much as I can about language and how it can be used to communicate more efficiently and effectively to its intended audience. I want to be a tutor to help others see how exciting it can be when you understand something new and feel understood.

Hobbies

I love the performing arts! If I am able, I will go to as many theater productions, ballets and dance concerts, festivals, symphonies, and movie theater. It is about more than just being entertained. I love thinking about the characters and why they choose to make their choices, watching dancers move and somehow evoke such emotion and connection, hearing people play similar instruments and create entirely awesome compositions. I love to write and read! A great book can immerse even the least imaginative of us. It can engage you with the world or give you solace to another place entirely! I love words and learning how to use and utilize them is so important for how we relate to the world and is even more important in learning how to understand yourself. I love mysteries and figuring things out! Now, that can translate to just about anything! I enjoy putting furniture together, like dressers and nightstands and tables (etc.). I also like reading and listening to podcasts about unsolved mysteries and disappearances as my mind wants to help figure out the mystery and bring some loved one home. I love DIY projects, whether they are homemade headboards or body butters and macara, I find myself so satisfied when I can create my own everyday tools! I love the culinary arts! I thoroughly enjoy cooking and baking and food related adventures! When you can make healthy food into indulgent dishes, it is such an amazing thing! :D I will add my hobbies as I continue to learn new things...feel free to share some new ones for me to try! :)
