I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Monmouth University. As a college student, I had the opportunity to work with many types of students. I worked as a student teacher in a second grade class and in a resource room for 4th and 5th graders. After graduation, I worked with AmeriCorps at a middle school as a tutor. While there, I tutored intensive math and reading classes, and worked with students who needed assistance with college preparation classes.I am passionate about education, and I love having the chance to share that with students. I tutor a variety of courses, including elementary math, middle school math, reading, writing, grammar and mechanics, American history, social studies, English, and math. I also enjoy working with students who are interested in improving their overall study skills and organizational skills, as these directly impact academic achievement across subjects.During my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, watching movies, and reading.
