I teach music, humanities, and history at the college level, and I'm also a musician. I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds and at all levels of ability. I enjoy tutoring because of the individualized approach, where students and I can connect and have interactive lessons that are catered to the needs of the individual. My tutoring specialty is helping students develop the critical thinking, writing, and reading skills they need to be successful in business and social science courses. I also enjoy teaching students music courses, and specifically jazz improvisation and jazz theory. I'm skilled in jazz improvisation and trumpet.
